In today's market, trust is an important currency that impacts relationships and the bottom line. To build trust, it is imperative to connect and resonate with people on an emotional level. The PRSA San Francisco Chapter is proud to bring in world-renowned speaker and branding expert Alan Hilburg to speak with senior leaders and their guests about "Emotional Branding: Using Communications to Build Relationships, Drive Loyalty and Win.”
PR professionals not only launch and protect brands... they convey their own. This year’s Thought Leaders Forum will explore—at a high level—new skills, new lenses and new knowledge behind brand resonance and understanding the human side of branding as a connective bridge with peers and a competitive tool in business. Learn what motivates CEOs and leadership teams, what causes them to stop listening and what can you do as a professional to become a voice that people respond to and trust.
Alan Hilburg, President and CEO of Hilburg Associates, is the award-winning author of two New York Times best sellers and an Academy Award and three time Emmy nominated producer, but is perhaps best known for his leadership for the past 30 years as one of the world's innovators in emotional branding and helping high profile clients recover from institutional or personal branding crises.
Alan’s career includes guiding six of the top 30 branding campaigns of the 20th century including Johnson and Johnson’s Tylenol brand recovery; the creation of GE’s ‘Bringing Good Things to Life’; Wendy’s iconic “Where’s the Beef?”; and, the creation of the Olympic Torch Run for AT&T. Throughout his career, Alan and his teams have navigated numerous award-winning campaigns for global brands such as National Geographic, Coca Cola, Gillette, Four Season Hotels, American Airlines and JPMorganChase. He is also the recipient of five PRSA Silver Anvil Awards.
