Building Trust in Innovation

What the 2015 Edelman Trust Barometer Tells PR Professionals About Driving Change

Building trust is a key factor in acceptance of business innovation. That’s the takeaway from the 2015 Edelman Trust Barometer, released by Edelman every year. The survey looks at thousands of consumers in 27 countries to get a sense of public trust in business, government, NGOs and media. This year, it’s falling across the board, with more than half of the global-informed public believing the pace of development and change in business today is too fast, and that business innovation is driven by greed and money rather than a desire to improve people’s lives.
