Thanks to vision, dedication, a bond issue and an unprecedented gift from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, San Francisco General transformed last year from a vital yet dated and seismically unsafe care facility into a 21st century, patient-centered hospital.

Today, the new nine-story, 283-bed facility is in step with many privately funded hospitals and is poised to serve the city’s residents for years to come.

Hear Zuckerberg San Francisco General Chief Communications Officer Brent Andrew explain the key role communications played in garnering support for and recognition of “the General” with both internal and external audiences and gain insights about the opportunities and sensitivities around major gift announcements.

Learn from this powerful case study how to earn optimal attention on behalf of your company or client for an important launch or other significant organizational milestone.
