Description
Please join us on Tuesday, Jan. 28 for the first PRSA-SF program of 2014 as we go “Behind the Scenes with Batkid.” On Nov. 15, 2013 a new superhero rallied the entire city of San Francisco and the world as he confronted evildoers in San Francisco. People around the globe now know that Batkid is the alter-ego of Miles, a 5-year-old who is in remission from leukemia.
This evening will be a lively panel discussion about how the Batkid story went viral to capture the hearts of many and would become one of the greatest feel-good stories of 2013. We will hear from the social media force behind the event, Stefania Pomponi, Founder, President & Chief Evangelist of the Clever Girls Collective. She is a respected social media thought leader and dynamic speaker for social media conferences. Also joining us will be Patricia Wilson, Executive Director, Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area who was actively involved with the planning and execution of the wish fulfillment event. We will round out the evening with a discussion of data and results from the Batkid campaign and its impact in the news and social media.
