Description

Once billed as “the bridge that couldn’t be built,” the Golden Gate Bridge is still going strong at age 75. And so is the yearlong promotion of its silver anniversary.   On June 21, two senior marketing professionals from the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy will give us an inside look at the magnitude of this unique campaign.  David W. Shaw, Vice President, Communications & Marketing, and Veda Banerjee, Director of Communications, Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy will discuss:

  • What it took to achieve broad-based community support for the celebration
  • What benchmarks were used to measure success
  • How the Conservancy created and leveraged partnerships, sponsorships, social media and other best practices
